Emergency State Assistance Information Line: The State Assistance Information Line (SAIL) is a toll-free hotline activated at the time of an emergency to provide an additional resource for those in Florida to receive accurate and up-to-date information regarding an emergency or disaster situation impacting the State of Florida. The SAIL hotline is: 1-800-342-3557.

Florida State Agricultural Response Team: The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is the lead agency for animal and agricultural emergencies. The State Agricultural Response Team (SART) is a planning, training, and response support group in partnerships with the University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences, UF College of Veterinary Medicine, and the United States Department of Agriculture.

Volunteer Florida: Volunteer Florida is the state’s lead agency for volunteers and donations before, during and after disasters. In partnership with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Volunteer Florida coordinates with Florida Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) and local and state government emergency management agencies to meet volunteer and donation needs and mobilizes and deploys resources to assist communities responding to and recovering from disaster.

Florida Housing Disaster Relief Resources: In the wake of the devastation the State of Florida has experienced due to recent natural disasters, Florida Housing Finance Corporation (Florida Housing) is working with state and federal officials to provide information on disaster relief resources and information. This webpage provides available resources to assist with recovery efforts. 

DFS PrepareFL: A collection of resources managed by the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), including an emergency financial preparedness toolkit, information about filing insurance claims, and how to save on taxes with the Florida Home Hardening Tax Exemption.

DMS Doing Business with the State of Florida: The Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) encourages vendors to do business with the State of Florida. DMS ensures fair and open competition in procurement of commodities and contractual services.

Florida Emergency Supplier Network: The Florida Emergency Supplier Network is a list of suppliers that have agreed to make all reasonable efforts to ensure that goods and services remain available during emergencies. Suppliers complete an online application, which includes a company profile, a list of products and services the company offers, how to contact the company during and after regular business hours, and the company’s readiness for emergency response.

Florida Disaster Contractors Network: The Disaster Contractors Network is an online database of contractors available to work in disaster areas. Those wishing to assist individuals after a disaster should register with the network to be listed as available. The Disaster Contractors Network helps disaster survivors find trusted, Florida-certified contractors to assist in recovery efforts.
